Energy Auditing introduced in UN Commission of Sustainable Development meeting
Energy Efficiency, Energy Auditing and international Energy Audit ‘06 Conference were introduced in a side event of United Nations Commission of Sustainable Development 14th meeting in New York 9th of May 2006.
The 1,5 hour event was held during the second week of the meeting as a side event arranged by the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Finland. The presentation team consisted of Mr. Ashok Sarkar, a senior energy specialist from World Bank, Mr. Heikki Väisänen from the Ministry and Mr. Timo Husu from Motiva Oy.
The event attracted a fair number of interested people and the discussion around the topics was so lively that an extension for the scheduled time was needed.
Energy auditing was also mentioned strongly in Finland’s official final speech of the meeting.
