International Energy Audit Conference EnergyAudit’06 offers a unique opportunity for exchange of ideas, experiences and results gained in energy audit programmes, and future developments and prospects in energy audit activities worldwide.
The conference focuses in energy efficiency and integration of renewable energies through methods of energy audit procedures in improving energy performance of buildings and processes.
The 3-day conference is a part of the implementation of the International Action Plan adopted in the Renewable Energy Conference in Bonn, June 2004. EnergyAudit’06 is also part of the international follow-up of the 2002 Johannesburg Summit’s Plan of Implementation, and contributes to the capacity building and technology transfer under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Energy Audit ‘06 is also one of the activities arranged during the Finnish EU-presidency in the autumn 2006.
Organisers
The event is organised by the Finnish Ministry of Trade and Industry and Motiva Oy together with Ministry of the Environment and Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Finland.
Participants
EnergyAudit’06 will convene internationally experts on energy auditing, energy efficiency and renewables.
The conference welcome participation of national and local policy makers, programme developers and coordinators in ministries and energy agencies, international associations and financial institutions, and other public and private organisations.

Poster Session
Poster session offers an ideal platform to display successful energy audit procedures, initiatives and projects for professional audience.
Posters will be displayed during the conference and presented during a dedicated session at 12:00 - 13:00 on the 12th of September, the second conference day.
