Opening by Mr Mauri Pekkarinen, Minister for Trade and Industry of Finland
EU Commissioner for Energy Mr. Andris Piebalgs gave a lively presentation on European Energy and Climate Policy.
Mr Mark Radka, Chief of Energy Branch at the United Nations Environmental Programme spoke of "Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in the UN Strategy for Sustainable Development".
Mr Paul Waide, Senior Policy Analyst for the International Energy Agency IEA, gave the audience a presentation on "World Energy Outlook - Alternative Long-Term Scenarios".
