Short CV:
Mr. Janne Hietaniemi is responsible for energy and environment industries in Finpro. Finpro has large international multi-client energy efficiency, bio-energy, environment and other climate change related projects all over the world, i.e. China, Russia, India, Europe, USA, Canada and Latin America as well as national programmes and single client consultation in internationalization.
Formerly Mr. Hietaniemi worked in Motiva as a customer service manager being responsible for national energy efficiency programmes in industry and energy sectors. i.e. voluntary energy efficiency agreements and energy audits. Mr. Hietaniemi was a project manager when developing Finnish Power Plant Energy Analysis, Compressed Air Audit and when integrating renewable energy sources into Finnish Energy Audit Programme. In Motiva he was a team leader of the “Energy Audit-team” (coordinating Finnish energy audit programme) 2001-2003 and team leader of “Industry team” (coordinating of Finnish energy efficiency in industry and energy sector) 2003-2005.
Before Motiva Mr. Hietaniemi worked for one of the major consulting companies in Finland - Olof Granlund Oy - during 1995-2001 being responsible of energy purchase optimization and energy audits. That time Mr. Hietaniemi also started a new business unit (Electricity team in facilities management department) and raised the team from 1 to 8 persons during 1995-2001.
