Short CV:
Felicitas Kraus holds a Diploma in political science acquired at the Universities of Heidelberg and Berlin. Since October 2001 she is head of the new found Division of Energy Efficiency in Buildings at dena. She developed and shaped the department from the start and today is responsible for a multi million Euro budget and oversees a staff of 15 experts in their fields. The tasks of her department include scientific support of the governmental work in the whole field of energy efficiency in the building sector, close collaboration with the building and building-technology industry, demonstration projects and national and international capacity building.
Felicitas Kraus gained further expertise in her previous position as project director at the Institute for Urban Development and Housing of the Federal State of Brandenburg. There she was responsible for advising the state ministry of transport, housing and planning and the conception and compilation of scientific reports and expertises. Other previous positions comprise office manager and parliamentary assistant to a Member of the German Parliament and head of PR at a redevelopment and housing company in Berlin.
Felicitas Kraus is a well known expert in the field of energy efficiency in buildings and senior adviser to the German Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing. She is responsible for various publications and a key note speaker at national and international conferences.
