Short CV:

Mr. Puustinen, b. 1963, MSc. Business Administration, joined the Foreign Ministry of Finland (MFA) in 1991. He has served in various departments, his duties ranging from bilateral, multilateral and EU development co-operation to administrative tasks, including advisory services to the MFA's management. He has served as diplomat in Germany and worked in Costa Rica for the United Nations Development Programme.

Since 2004, Mr. Puustinen acts as Director of the Unit for Sector Policies, which deals with issues like energy sector development co-operation and climate change.

Mr. Puustinen serves as Chairman of the Finnish CDM/JI Pilot Programme's Steering Committee; he also acts as temporary Designated National Authority (DNA) for CDM projects of the said Programme.
