Short CV:
Master of Science in Mechanical engineering from University of Karlsruhe with a focus on energy technologies. He holds an PhD from University of Duisburg where he was working in the field of the energetic optimization of chemical process plants. Since 1995 at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (Fraunhofer ISI), Karlsruhe, Germany. He has large experience in the field of rational use of energy in process and cross cutting technologies.(e.g. compressed air systems, fans, heat recovery). He is a reader at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich, Switzerland and at the University of Koblenz, Germany.
